Where are your pearls in dating?

I am not one for quoting bible verses, but my love, Roberto, reminded me of a quote that I thought I’d share with you. Many times in dating, we often give too much away to those who won’t love us back. We forgive more easily and love more deeply those who cannot take care of our precious heart.  To avoid this, we need to be reminded about how amazing we are and what we have to offer in a relationship. The quote, “Don’t cast your pearls before swine” is a great line to remember when you are dating.

The truth of who you are is a precious pearl filled with lots of love to share with someone special. Be careful not to toss your love at swine – meaning those who do not have the capacity to love you the way you deserve. How many times have you given away your value to someone who doesn’t reciprocate the adoration that you give him or her?

As you begin to appreciate and love yourself on a deep level, you will no longer waste your time on the “swine” and save your beautiful gift to someone who will adore you completely. Once your subconscious mind is in alignment with your true nature, you will automatically be drawn to those who value the gift of YOU.

  1. You are quite right with this, however, from my experience I noticed that it is best to first love yourself, be as confident as you can be and then things will change. Slowly, but will definitely change. It is all up to you rather to your partner. :)
