How To Tell When Your Date is Lying

This information is based on Neurolinguistic Programming or NLP.  You can tell alot about a person by paying attention to their eye movements.  Neurological studies have shown that eye movements seem to be associated with activating different parts of the brain.  We unconsciously know when someone is lying but our conscious mind sometimes overrides our gut feelings, especially when the guy is extremely attractive or has charisma.  This is a great way to bring the truth to conscious awareness and harness your dating detective skills.

When on a date, watch his eyes when he answers questions.  If he looks to the left (either up, down or to the side) just before his response, he is probably telling the truth.  The eye movements track him searching for the logical part of his mind for the correct answer.  However, if he looks to the right, he is searching the creative parts of his brain to make up the answer.  Now this may be reversed if he is left-handed, so test out a few questions that you know are true to get a baseline.  Or, he could be mixing truth with a nice cover-up to sound better through his creative genius.

Now truly, some men do not have all the answers, but when it comes to questions like "are you looking for a relationship?," "when was your last serious girlfriend?," or "why did you get divorced?" he should be able to answer them without a cheat sheet.

This is a great tidbit to know whether you are on a date or asking your boss for a raise.  Test it on your friends (without telling them, of course) and watch what happens.  It may be confusing at first because your right is their left, but you will get the hang of it with practice.  Why waste your time when you are looking for the one?  Dating can be a long process, so this will help you sort out the bad seeds sooner than later.
